Palma is a resort city and capital of the Spanish island of Majorca (Mallorca in Spanish) in the western Mediterranean. The massive Santa María cathedral, a Gothic landmark begun in the 13th century, overlooks the Bay of Palma. The adjacent Almudaina is a Moorish-style Arab fortress converted to a royal residence. Hilltop Bellver Castle is a medieval fortress west of the city with a distinctive circular shape. Four photos of these scenic sites are included.
Enjoy some vintage textured leather-covered Spanish decanter bottles with chained cork for wine and liquor. Relief carvings of different designs can be seen on all four sides. They are unique handicrafts made by Montes, which I acquired as souvenirs for my first trip to Spain and Palma at its Majorca Island.
