I want to share a poem by Bing dedicated to those retiring and those in retirement. I do not know who is Bing, do you?

I reflect on my life and my passion
I have worked hard and achieved my goals
I have loved and cared for many souls
Now it is time to enjoy the rest
Of the journey that is still the best
I have no regrets or worries to bear
I have peace and joy and freedom to share
Retirement is not the end of the road
But the beginning of a new mode
A mode of living with grace and gratitude
A mode of exploring with wonder and attitude
I welcome the sunset as a friend
Who reminds me of the beauty that never ends
I embrace retirement as a gift
Who allows me to cherish and uplift.”
It has been raining for many days, and I miss the beautiful sunset. Wouldn’t it be nice to enjoy a lovely evening of sunset that God has created?
Retirement is just like a beautiful sunset, where everything slows down to a peaceful and calm. The lights are turning from a solid bright glare to gentle golden rays of warmth. Everything will become beautiful and relaxed. That is what retirement should be about – a relaxing time to enjoy the lovely warmth of the time, illuminated with golden rays of achievements.
Enjoy every sunset, which photographers frequently call the golden hours. Just like retirement, the golden hours of our life.
