Please enjoy two lacquer paintings of tranquil, cool-looking, nocturnal rural scenes of Vietnam, featuring typical houses on stilts at a river with coconut trees, bamboo and other local trees on river banks on a night with a full moon. Lacquer artwork is a traditional art form in Vietnam. I acquired these artworks on wooden panels from Hanoi, where I was brought to visit many art galleries after delivering an hour-long lecture as an invited speaker for the Vietnamese National Congress on Recent Developments in Clinical Laboratory Testing held in Hanoi.
