The happy first morning of the Chinese New Year!
Please enjoy my painting 《 After Heavy Snow-Fall in Late Autumn 》. When the leaves of mountain trees turned golden-yellow and brown, flocks of white Siberian cranes would take migratory flights across the Himalayan mountains. With their heads and necks out-stretched and their feet and legs straight behind them, they can reach heights of 4,900 –8,000 meters.

Tan It Koon
Before retirement, Dr Tan It Koon was, among many appointments, Head of Clinical Biochemistry at SGH’s Dept of Pathology. He was the Deputy Chairman of the National Theatre Trust and Chairman for Grants and Scholarships of the Spore Cultural Foundation. He received the National Day Awards, PBM, and PPA, for his contribution to cultural and community development and excellence in Public Administration.
