While travelling to large cities abroad, I like to visit large department stores that usually have large stocks of beautiful and attractive printed fabrics for home decorations. They can be used for apparel, curtains, wall-hanging in place of wallpaper, bed sheets, upholstery for sofas and chairs, cushion covers, and tablecloths.
I also like to visit sections that display scarves, shawls, and neckties. I am glad to share some beautiful scarves acquired during my visits to London, Paris, Milan, Rome, Florence, and Como. They were bought with the intention of framing them as art pieces and hanging them as wall decorations, like how they were displayed in the branded shops of Christian Dior, Gucci, Hermes, and Beppe Spardacini in large shopping malls.
I have chosen scarves with a theme of showcasing the beauty of nature and wildlife: grapes and vines in various colors, blue and yellow butterflies, leopards, and other animals (on a theme of “equator”), toucans, macaws and parakeets, frangipani flowers and hibiscus will palm and monstera leaves, parrots with banana and coconut leaves, and African theme of elephants, giraffes, alligators, zebra and leopard, and flowers of Europe. They appear to be artworks celebrating the beauty of nature! They can be worn as clothing accessories or be appreciated purely as artwork for the wall.
